Huckleberries are a wild blue-black berry, similar to the blueberry. Native to the high mountains of Montana, huckleberries are a favorite in the Treasure State of both the people and bears.
Red Rooster Kitchen harnesses the rich flavors of the huckleberry to produce a variety of jams and jellies, as well as huckleberry syrups and even a Huckleberry BBQ Sauce!
Signature Savory Jams
Red Rooster Kitchen offers an entire collection of savory jams. According to market research, savory jams are the #1 growing condiment in the United States.
Our savory jams are the perfect compliment to sandwiches, burgers, or any other traditional food. A smear of our savory jam can create an entirely new taste experience sure to satisfy your palate.
Our savory jams also allow you to enjoy local Montana fruits and berries year-round while keeping your sugar intake in check. If you haven’t tried anything from our savory collection yet, you will thank yourself for giving it a try!
Homemade Apple Butter
While technically not a jam or jelly, our Apple Butter is a delicious treat made with fresh Montana apples, cinnamon, and clove. Rich and creamy, our Apple Butter is bursting with flavor.
Red Rooster Kitchen’s Apple Butter is the perfect topping for ice cream, cinnamon rolls, muffins, pancakes, and any other sweet treat.
We offer a sugar-free alternative alongside our original Apple Butter.
Montana’s Flathead Cherries are world-renowned for their rich, sweet flavor. In northwest Montana, along the banks of the largest fresh-water lake west of the Mississippi, cherries thrive.
We personally select the cherries we use in our Flathead Cherry Jam and our Flathead Cherry Jelly. If you have never tried a Flathead cherry before, you owe it to yourself to try a jar of either our jam or jelly.
